This text block is about the theme: Why am I vegan? It starts with a short throwback. As I came in to the first class, I was vegetarian. I was young, I was 6 years old. I thought if I am vegetarian I wouldn’t kill any animals, but as I was 13 I changed my mind. I was outside after a hard school day. I looked in my cats eyes and asked myself: What am I doing? Where are my dairy products from? Where do the others have their meat from? I went inside, took my iPhone and watched a short movie (maybe 18min). I cryed pretty much at this movie, I saw how animals live. I was shooked for a moment. I lyed my phone away from me. I closed my eyes and asked myself: Do I have to eat this, I mean it isn’t mine milk is for cow babys, eggs are chickens period. I called my dad. He supports me with everything. I told him what I saw. I think he was a litzle shooked too. I said I want to Bestie vegan and he said okay, but we talk with your doctor. And regularly he should check your blood. A young unknown girl became an activist. I was happier than befor, I felt like my life changed completely. 

So but why exactly? 

What did I saw in the movies? 

I start with the „milk-thing“:

 A cow gives just milk when she is pregnant. And the milk is mothersmilk for the lil baby cows. Thats the facts you should know. 

1. The cow does not get pregnant by herself. But she have to be pregnant for giving milk. So the humans took a bull and take his sperms. 

2. The cow is still not pregnat. Now there is another human he takes the sperms in catheter with his hand inside the cow. 

3. Being pregnant isn’t easy for the body you see it look at a pregnant woman. After 9 months the cows baby is on earth. But at first day they take  the baby away from his mother. The baby is going to slaughter after 4,5 months. 

4. Normal cows are up to 20 years. But milk cows just 4 years.
